Mechanical Field Service Engineer – Aero Turbines

Job Summary:
EarthStream Global are looking for highly skilled and motivated Mechanical Field Service Engineers with proven experience in the installation, maintenance, and overhaul of aeroderivative gas turbines. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in supporting field operations globally, ensuring turbine systems are installed and maintained to the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead or support the installation, inspection and overhaul of aeroderivative gas turbines at customer sites.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues related to turbines, compressors, gearboxes, and auxiliaries.
  • Perform mechanical disassembly, reassembly, alignment, and dynamic checks on major rotating equipment.
  • Collaborate with OEM representatives and site personnel to ensure proper execution of work scopes and documentation.
  • Conduct root cause analysis and prepare detailed service reports, findings, and recommendations.
  • Adhere strictly to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards and customer-specific regulations.
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior field engineers and technicians.
  • Travel to domestic and international customer sites on short notice as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent technical qualification.
  • Minimum of 5 years of field experience with aeroderivative turbines.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, P&IDs, and OEM manuals.
  • Familiarity with control systems.
  • Ability to work in demanding environments, including offshore and remote locations.
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
