Job summary

Merge Recruitment Agency seeks a Mechanical Engineer in Dammam with 5–7 years of experience in construction projects, especially substations. You will design HVAC and fire fighting systems, perform load calculations, and prepare AutoCAD shop drawings and submittals.

Strong English and excellent communication are essential. The ideal candidate will work on EPC contracts for substations, MV/HV/EHV projects, and be able to coordinate with multiple stakeholders while ensuring compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering.
• 5 to 7 years of experience in construction projects.
• Experience in EPC Substation construction projects.
• Knowledge in HVAC and Fire Fighting system design.
• AutoCAD shop drawings and submittals experience.
• Knowledge of authorities' requirements.
• Excellent communication and strong English.
• Cost, safety and time constraint awareness.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cost-effective equipment modifications for safety and reliability.
• Develop project specifications with multidisciplinary teams.
• Test and evaluate theoretical designs.
• Coordinate with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers and customers.
• Ensure producibility and performance in operating environments.
• Manage projects using engineering principles.
• Plan and design new production processes.
• Produce detailed specifications and outlines.
• Recommend modifications after prototype testing.
• Perform mathematical modelling and CAD analyses.
• Consider cost, safety and time constraints.
• Monitor and commission plant and systems.
