Job summary

LG Electronics is seeking a Mechanical Engineer with a Bachelor's degree and 1–2 years of experience to develop and optimize 3D designs for mechanical components using AutoCAD or SolidWorks. You will review specifications, prepare technical documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and reliability.

The role requires proficiency in 3D CAD software, strong documentation skills (Excel, BOMs), and the ability to read mechanical drawings.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or closely related field.
1–2 years of experience in mechanical engineering or similar roles.
Proficiency in 3D design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or equivalent.
Strong ability to create, manage, and revise technical documentation (Excel, engineering reports, BOMs, etc.).
Basic understanding of mechanical systems, materials, and engineering principles.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Develop and optimize 3D designs for mechanical components and systems using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD tools.
Review, analyze, and interpret technical specifications to ensure design accuracy, efficiency, and functionality.
Prepare and maintain technical documentation including reports, drawings, and calculations using Excel and other tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (production, maintenance, quality, etc.) to solve technical issues and improve operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, engineering best practices, and quality requirements.
Conduct inspections on equipment and systems, providing technical support and recommendations for improvements and reliability.
