Job summary

Mars is seeking a Materials Handler to support safe and efficient movement, storage and handling of materials within the warehouse and production areas. You will coordinate with other handlers, manage inventory, and ensure timely material flow across departments and external warehouses to meet the schedule.

The role requires pace, teamwork and compliance with safety and food safety regulations, with responsibilities covering SAP/WMS / PDLS related material movements during shifts.

Qualifications

• GCSE level or above with good English verbal and written skills.
• Experience in FMCG / Factory Operations desirable.
• SAP/PDLS training or fault-finding experience beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Part of a shift team of up to 15 associates contributing to targets.
• Accountable for safety and quality standards in warehouse operations.
• Escalate issues as appropriate and provide full verbal and written handover; fix system issues using trained knowledge.
