Summary
As the Marketing & Communications Manager for the pre-opening phase of SLS The Red Sea, you will be instrumental in shaping and delivering the brand s marketing vision tailored to the Saudi market. You will lead all marketing, branding, public relations, and communication initiatives to create strong brand awareness and excitement ahead of the resort s launch. This role requires a dynamic, culturally aware professional with a deep understanding of the Saudi luxury hospitality market and an ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Strategy & Brand Positioning
Develop and execute a targeted marketing plan focused on the Saudi market, aligned with the global SLS brand standards and the unique positioning of The Red Sea resort.
Collaborate with regional and global teams to ensure consistent messaging and brand coherence.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and consumer trends specific to Saudi Arabia.
Lead digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, and online advertising, tailored to engage the Saudi luxury segment.
Communications & Public Relations
Manage all communications and PR activities within Saudi Arabia to build strong media relations and foster positive brand reputation.
Oversee press releases, media kits, and content creation ensuring culturally appropriate messaging.
Coordinate with local influencers, media, and partners to maximize brand visibility.
Prepare internal and external communication materials for key stakeholders and guests.
Pre-Opening Coordination
Partner closely with pre-opening teams including Sales, Operations, and People & Culture to align marketing efforts with overall launch goals.
Support the development of promotional events, brand activations, and experiential campaigns in Saudi Arabia.
Track and report on campaign performance metrics and adjust strategies accordingly.
Team Leadership & Stakeholder Engagement
Lead and mentor local marketing staff and external agencies to ensure delivery excellence.
Work directly with government entities, tourism boards, and local partners to secure necessary approvals and partnerships.
Act as the primary marketing liaison for the Saudi market during the pre-opening phase.
Qualifications
Saudi national (in line with local employment policies).
Bachelor s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
Minimum 5 years of marketing and communications experience in luxury hospitality or related industries.
Deep understanding of the Saudi market, culture, media landscape, and consumer behavior.
Proven experience managing brand campaigns and PR activities in Saudi Arabia.
Strong digital marketing skills, including social media strategy and content creation.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Arabic and English.
Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional pre-opening environment.
