Job Purpose

To lead and manage the organization’s contracts and commercial activities by ensuring effective contract administration, commercial risk management, cost control, and compliance with legal and procurement frameworks. The role safeguards the organization’s commercial interests while supporting project delivery and strategic objectives.

Key Accountabilities
  • Lead the preparation, review, negotiation, and administration of contracts, agreements, and commercial terms.
  • Ensure all contracts comply with organizational policies, legal requirements, and regulatory frameworks.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate commercial and contractual risks across projects and operations.
  • Provide commercial support to project teams during tendering, bidding, and procurement processes.
  • Manage contract lifecycle activities including amendments, claims, variations, extensions, and disputes.
  • Oversee cost analysis, pricing strategies, and commercial evaluations to ensure financial efficiency.
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, procurement, and project management teams to ensure contract alignment.
  • Monitor contractor performance against contractual obligations and KPIs.
  • Lead negotiations with vendors, suppliers, and service providers to achieve favorable commercial outcomes.
  • Prepare commercial reports, risk assessments, and executive summaries for senior management.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience
