Job summary

Parker Hannifin in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, seeks an Assembly/Production Operator to operate a wide range of test rigs and assemble in multiple areas to maximize capacity while ensuring high quality.

You will follow drawings and ISO procedures, maintain 5S standards, participate in safety programs, and contribute to timely handovers between shifts, with training provided as you gain experience.

Qualifications

• Follow drawings, routings, and setup sheets to ensure quality parts.
• Knowledge of auxiliary equipment (laser etch, hard etch, PMI, test rigs).
• Typically, a minimum of 1 year of assembly experience preferred.
• Ability to set and run all test rigs, including chart recording.
• Teamwork and willingness to lead when necessary.

Responsibilities

Position Summary

To operate a wide range of test rigs and assemble in multiple areas to maximum capacity and to produce goods of the highest quality.

Responsibilities

1. Setting and operating machine following the established procedures and standard work Instructions.
2. Able to assemble/test all products within all assembly cells.
3. To continually review and ensure all products manufactured meet the established quality standard.
4. Read and follow instructions on drawings, routings, and ISO procedures so that the work produced meets requirements in terms of time and quality.
5. Maintain a clean and tidy working environment to the company’s 5s standard so that the work area hazards are minimized, tooling and gauges etc. are protected and presentation meets the Company standard.
6. Utilize all company provided personal protective equipment as well as other safety devices to ensure the job holders personal safety is maintained and that others are not jeopardized by their actions.
7. Cooperate fully with the company’s Health, Safety and Environmental programs to ensure compliance at all times and that safe working practices are followed.
8. Ensures effective handover to next shift especially where this involves the night shift or weekend shift in order that they can continue effective manufacturing.
9. With increased experience, will train other Operators in the use of the machines, safety equipment and product.
10. Expectation to host witness inspections as required.

13. Production targets are met in terms of both numbers and timescales
14. The jobholder follows standard work and ISO written procedures to manufacture product and identifies to supervision where procedures do not reflect optimum manufacture.
15. The jobholder demonstrates flexibility in moving between tasks and machines.
16. Produces products to quality standard and sets machine to 1st off Standard within the designated work area
17. The jobholder ensures there is an effective handover between shifts; in particular there is sufficient material, and information to enable the next shift to continue manufacture. This is especially important when the next shift is the night shift or weekend shift who may not have ready access to raw material, drawings, and routings.
18. Contributes to the success of the team through active problem solving.
19. Takes responsibility for personal actions and those of others who may be assigned to the job holder.
20. Is seen as an effective communicator and team member in getting on with others, identifying issues to supervision etc.
21. Co-operates with line management to achieve business objectives
22. Maintains premier housekeeping standards and participates actively in 5S programme
23. Maintains regular attendance and timekeeping
24. Publicly demonstrates consistent support to the Division and line management.

Qualifications

1. Able to follow instructions on drawings, routings, set up sheets, procedures etc which together with product knowledge will result in consistent quality parts and have reasonable literacy skills.
