Job summary

Halliburton is seeking an experienced maintenance technician to service electrical and electronic equipment at our Jubail Highway Abu Hadria Exit site in Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and verify readiness through advanced testing.

Required is a high school diploma and 3 years in related fields; technical certification or an associate degree in electrical fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent and 3 years of experience in related electrical/electronic fields are required.
• A Technical Certification or Associates degree in an Electrical field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive/predictive maintenance and repair of electrical/electronic equipment relative to their location.
• Possesses intermediate diagnostic/troubleshooting knowledge and skills; conducts advanced testing to verify readiness.
• Interpret and apply electrical/electronic schematics/drawings/prints.
• Ensure accurate input and maintenance of data in Halliburton's HMS system of record.
• Follow HMS processes and mentor others as directed; maintain safe, efficient operations.

Job Duties

Under general supervision, performs preventive/predictive maintenance and repair of a variety of electronic and/or electrical equipment relative to their assigned location. Possesses intermediate diagnostic/troubleshooting knowledge and skills. Performs advanced testing of equipment to verify readiness after maintenance. Must be proficient in understanding/interpreting electronic and/or electrical schematics/drawings/prints. Performs work within a variety of Halliburton specific software and hardware. Must possess advanced computer literacy. Knowledge of part identification and system search to enable accurate procurement of spares. Ensures adherence, accurate input, and maintenance of data into Halliburton's system of record. This role is responsible for following specific and detailed work processes within the Halliburton Management System (HMS) during daily job activities. Performs own work and mentors others as directed. Responsible for ensuring duties are performed in a safe, efficient, and effective manner. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined.
