Job summary

Job description

Lead Planner/Scheduler – Medical

Our client is an international project management company currently involved in the construction management of several large medical projects.

To strengthen their team, they require a lead/senior planner.

You will be based at the company's main office with other core project management team members.

Duties
  1. Develop and agree on project schedules; track/report progress; and implement controls.
  2. Develop planning and scheduling systems in conjunction with the Project Manager.
  3. Establish and agree on the project baseline schedule with all stakeholders.
  4. Issue baseline schedule notes and update schedules regularly.
  5. Plan Man-hour expenditure and measure progress, including baseline ‘S’ curves.
  6. Conduct risk analysis of the schedule.
  7. Update schedules and reports in accordance with project procedures.
  8. Identify and communicate schedule delays to the Project Manager and team.
  9. Facilitate remedies for project delays.
  10. Log schedule changes and maintain records of related issues.
  11. Organize schedule workshops at critical project phases.
  12. Produce schedules post-workshops, ensuring integration with other project schedules.
  13. Identify and communicate critical and near-critical paths.
  14. Ensure tender packages adequately describe contractor and consultant requirements.
Requirements
  • Minimum 15 years of experience.
  • Major experience in Western countries, with some experience in the Gulf region.
  • Experience in medical projects is highly beneficial.
  • Degree qualified.
