Job summary

MRG is seeking an experienced Interior Designer to join our in-house technical services team in Riyadh. The role focuses on reviewing submissions, guiding revisions, and ensuring interior design packages meet project briefs, brand standards and operational needs.

You will work across multiple residential and hospitality developments, coordinating with architectural, MEP, joinery and specialists to deliver technically coordinated, buildable designs within programmes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or related discipline.
• Minimum of seven years’ interior design experience with consultant coordination for residential/hospitality projects.
• International experience valued.
• Strong knowledge of interior design drawings, FF&E and fit-out requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review interior design consultant submissions from concept through schematic and detailed design, including drawings, specifications and FF&E packages.
• Issue clear technical comments and ensure revisions are incorporated on time.
• Assess design packages for technical quality, completeness and compliance with briefs and brand standards.
• Coordinate interior design with architectural, MEP, joinery and fit-out packages; resolve clashes and interface issues.
• Track consultant deliverables and coordinate design reviews across multiple projects.
• Support multidisciplinary design reviews and clash detection; integrate interior design requirements into project docs.
• Coordinate responses to RFIs with Lead Architect and construction teams.
• Maintain interior design drawing/doc registers in Procore.
• Review hotel operator and tenant submissions for compliance with guidelines.
