Job summary

Client of Eram Talent is seeking a Senior Cost Engineer to manage cost estimation budgeting forecasting and cost control for capital projects in the oil & gas sector in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee monthly cost reports and forecasts and ensure costs align with budgets and contracts.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, MIS, or Engineering, 10+ years of experience in cost engineering and project controls, and proficiency with SAP or Oracle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, MIS, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in engineering and project management execution.
• Strong experience in Cost Engineering, Project Controls, or related discipline.
• Proven experience in cost estimating, budgeting, forecasting, and control of large-scale projects, preferably in oil & gas.
• Proficiency in cost management systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles, cost engineering practices, and relevant industry standards.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Full professional proficiency in English.
• Strong project management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Preferred PMP certification.

Responsibilities

• Manage cost estimation budgeting forecasting and cost control activities for capital projects
• Prepare maintain and review accurate monthly cost reports and project cost forecasts
• Monitor project costs against approved budgets contracts and cost control requirements
• Provide cost analysis and recommendations to support project management and decision-making
• Ensure engineering procurement construction and project completion activities comply with contractual cost and company requirements
• Coordinate effectively with project managers engineers contractors clients and other stakeholders
• Support project controls and ensure proper implementation of cost management procedures
