Job description

Lead Construction Engineer - Electrical, Instrumentation & Telecom (E&I&T)

Lead and manage all E&I&T construction activities on site, ensuring safe, compliant, and timely execution in accordance with Local Saudi Arabia standards, project specifications, and approved drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead E&I&T construction works including LV/MV/HV systems, substations, instrumentation, DCS/PLC/SIS, and telecom systems (FOC, PA/GA, CCTV).
• Act as the primary E&I&T interface with EPC contractors, PMC, client, vendors, and commissioning teams.
• Ensure compliance with SAES, SAMSS, SABIC Engineering Standards, IEC, IEEE, NEC, NFPA, and ISA.
• Review and approve method statements, ITPs, work packs, and technical queries.
• Enforce HSE requirements, PTW, LOTO, and electrical safety practices.
• Monitor progress, manpower, and material availability; resolve site issues.
• Lead pre‑commissioning, testing, and support commissioning up to handover.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical / Instrumentation / Electronics Engineering.
• 15+ years E&I construction experience, including Lead role on Local Saudi Arabia projects.
• Strong EPC/PMC site experience in oil & gas or petrochemical facilities.
