Job summary

Abdullah A. Al-Barrak & Son Co. is seeking a skilled Bolt Torque Lead Technician to oversee bolt tightening activities on site. You will plan, coordinate, and supervise torque operations, ensuring compliance with standards and project specs.

Responsibilities include developing bolting procedures, coordinating with engineering and QC teams, inspecting joints and tools, and training junior technicians. Strong leadership and safety focus are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma or equivalent in Mechanical or related field.
• ≥5 years of bolt torque experience, preferably in oil and gas.
• Strong knowledge of bolting tools and tightening procedures.
• Experience leading and training a team.
• Knowledge of industry standards and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise bolt torque activities on site according to project requirements and standards.
• Develop and implement bolting procedures and torque plans.
• Coordinate with engineering and quality control teams to ensure compliance and resolve technical issues.
• Inspect and certify bolted joints and torque tools for accuracy and safety.
• Train and mentor junior technicians in bolting techniques and safety practices.
• Maintain accurate documentation and reports of torqueing activities.
• Ensure all bolting operations are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
