Job summary

HanmiGlobal MENA is seeking a Landscape Architect to lead design development, technical reviews, and site coordination for diverse landscape projects in Riyadh. The role balances creative design with rigorous technical oversight to meet quality standards and client expectations, reporting to the Senior Landscape Architect.

You will review submissions, contribute to concept design, prepare landscape designs for site conditions, coordinate with engineers and contractors, and travel for site visits

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or related field
• Bachelor's Degree +7 years' experience
• Master's Degree +5 years' experience
• Proven experience in landscape design and project coordination
• Strong presentation and communication skills
• Willingness to conduct regular site visits
• Ability to review technical drawings and provide design solutions

Responsibilities

• Review and assess design submissions and shop drawings for compliance with project requirements and design intent
• Contribute to concept design development and assist in refining design solutions
• Prepare and adjust landscape designs based on project needs, site conditions, and Client feedback
• Ensure all design deliverables align with approved plans, specifications, and standards
• Manage and follow up on deliverables from the contractor's technical team to ensure timely and accurate submissions
• Conduct site visits to monitor progress, provide site instructions, and verify that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings
• Approve completed works at site in coordination with the Senior Landscape Architect and project team
• Prepare high-quality presentations, reports, and visual materials for Client meetings
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers, contractors, and stakeholders
• Support the Senior Landscape Architect in overall project design management and coordination

Role Overview

The Landscape Architect will support the design and delivery of landscape projects through design development, technical reviews, and site coordination. The role requires a balance of creative design capability and technical oversight, ensuring that project deliverables meet the required quality, timelines, and Client expectations. The position reports directly to the Senior Landscape Architect.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and assess design submissions and shop drawings prepared by contractors for compliance with project requirements and design intent.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field
• Bachelor's Degree +7 years' experience
• Master's Degree +5 years' experience
• Proven experience in landscape design and project coordination
• Strong proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Lumion, and/or SketchUp
• Ability to review technical drawings and provide design solutions
• Strong presentation and communication skills, with experience presenting to Clients
• Willingness to conduct regular site visits and work in a dynamic project environment
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and coordinate effectively with contractor teams
