Job summary

Emdad By Elm in Riyadh is seeking a skilled Java/Portlet developer to design and implement portlets compliant with JSR specifications. You will work with Spring Boot, REST APIs, and DataPower integration, coordinating with senior engineers to ensure security and performance within our portal architecture.

Requirements include Java 8+, Portlet lifecycle knowledge, and experience with Db2 or Couchbase. Location is on-site in Riyadh; teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field.
• Strong Java knowledge; Portlet and JSR specs are essential.
• Experience with DataPower, Db2, and Couchbase is advantageous.
• Familiar with RESTful APIs and MVC frameworks; Git workflows understood.

Responsibilities

• Assist in building Java Portlets and Spring Boot applications.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to solve development tasks.
• Develop portlets that adhere to JSR specs and portal standards.
• Ensure portlet performance, security, and integration with portal theme/layout.
• Integrate portlets with DataPower-secured APIs and backend data sources.
• Participate in code reviews and team discussions; stay updated with best practices.
