Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking an Irrigation Inspector to monitor and inspect irrigation systems within road and infrastructure projects, ensuring proper installation, efficient water management, and compliance with design specifications, environmental standards, and safety regulations.

You will inspect installations, verify drawings and specs, review materials and equipment, and prepare inspection reports for project records.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in Irrigation Engineering, Agricultural Eng, Civil Eng, or related field.
Experience in irrigation inspection on road and infrastructure projects.
Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, hydraulics, and water distribution.
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and irrigation design software.
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.

Responsibilities

Inspect installation of irrigation systems for roadside landscaping.
Verify compliance with drawings, specs, and industry standards.
Conduct site inspections for proper alignment, pressure, and water distribution.
Monitor adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
Review materials and equipment used in irrigation systems.
Prepare inspection reports and checklists for records.
Identify non-conformities and recommend corrective actions.
Collaborate with engineers, PMs, and contractors to resolve issues.
Ensure timely completion of irrigation works per schedule.
Support testing, commissioning, and handover of irrigation systems.
