Senior Infrastructure and Systems Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Infrastructure and Systems Engineer to manage and support the enterprise infrastructure including storage systems, backup operations, Windows servers, Active Directory, and virtualization platforms, ensuring optimal performance, security, and business continuity.
Responsibilities
- Manage Virtualization Platforms (such as VMware, VxRail, or Hyper‑V), including management, configuration, and monitoring.
- Manage Storage Environments (SAN, NAS, Object Storage).
- Implement and maintain Backup and Replication Policies to ensure data protection and disaster recovery readiness.
- Administer and maintain Active Directory services including domain controllers, DNS, GPOs, and user management.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain Windows Server environments.
- Provisioning, clustering, and performance optimization.
- Execute Basic Backup Operations and verify backup success across systems.
- Conduct regular health checks and proactive monitoring of infrastructure components.
- Participate in troubleshooting and resolving system outages and performance issues.
- Maintain accurate infrastructure documentation and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of VMware, VEEAM, Windows Server, Active Directory, or equivalent.
- Hands‑on experience with SAN/NAS storage systems and enterprise backup solutions.
- Good understanding of disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of proven hands‑on experience in:
- VMware vCenter / vSphere
- Dell EMC Data Domain (DD Storage)
- Veeam Backup & Replication
- Active Directory (A.D) Administration
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals, including switching, routing, VLANs, DNS, DHCP, and firewall rules.
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication, time management, and documentation abilities.
- Ability to manage tasks independently and respond effectively to incidents.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience or familiarity with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is a strong advantage.
- Relevant certifications are highly desirable:
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP)
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server or Active Directory
