Job summary

PPOAR is seeking an Information Security Analyst in AR Rass, Saudi Arabia to protect our computer systems and networks from cyber threats. You will join a team of IT professionals to implement security measures, perform risk assessments, monitor activity, and respond to incidents.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field, at least 2 years of information security experience, and knowledge of firewalls and IDS/IPS.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of information security experience.

• Experience conducting risk assessments and developing security policies.

Job description

As an Information Security Analyst you will be responsible for protecting the organizations computer systems and networks from cyber attacks and security breaches You will work with a team of IT professionals to implement and maintain security measures conduct risk assessments monitor network activity and investigate any potential security incidents

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain information security policies and procedures
• Perform regular vulnerability assessments and penetration testing
• Monitor network traffic for any suspicious activity or potential threats
• Respond to security incidents and conduct investigations to determine the cause of the incident
• Implement security controls to prevent unauthorized access to data or systems
• Stay up-to-date with the latest security trends technologies and best practices
• Work with other departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field
• Minimum of 2 years experience in information security or related field
• Knowledge of network security protocols and tools such as firewalls intrusion detectionprevention systems etc
• Experience conducting risk assessments and developingimplementing security policies
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Excellent communication skills in English both written and verbal
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP CISM or CEH are a plus
