Job summary

Diaverum is seeking an Infection Control Practitioner (ICP) to oversee infection prevention across all clinics. You will lead surveillance, develop staff training, and ensure compliance with international and local standards.

The role includes monthly and annual reporting, policy development, and cross-disciplinary collaboration. The ICP will work under the Infection Control Specialist, coordinating programs, conducting audits, and educating staff to strengthen patient safety and care quality

Qualifications

• Nursing degree or related health field with licensure.
• Special coursework in epidemiology, infection control or related area.
• Professional nursing licensure from country of origin.
• Certificate in Infection Control preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate infection control activities under guidance of Infection Control Specialist.
• Plan and implement infection control programs across clinics meeting established standards (JCI, CBAHI, OSHA, CDC, MOH).
• Develop and deliver infection control training for staff, including new employee orientation.
• Prepare infection control reports monthly, quarterly and annually for Medical Director and Infection Control Committee.
• Conduct infection control audits and investigations of significant outbreaks to identify root causes.
• Maintain comprehensive records for isolated patients and monitor infection control indicators.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses and staff to improve service and reduce risk.
