Job description

Location: Dhahran, Saudi Arabia

Job Purpose

BAE Systems is the UK Government’s nominated Prime Contractor providing equipment, support and training to Saudi Arabia. The role is to provide air and ground training to RSAF IDS pilots, WSOs and instructors, liaise between local RSAF, company management and BAE Systems, supervise BAE Systems employees, and carry out the duties of the Head of Flying in their absence.

Job Accountabilities

• Providing air and ground instruction to RSAF Tornado IDS crew at all levels.
• Providing the RFWS and Tornado IDS specialist expertise necessary to develop, operate and maintain the IDS Weapons Instructor course syllabus.
• Supervising all BAE activity on the RFWS.
• Supporting RSAF Commanders on RSAF training, BAE Systems recruitment and flight safety related issues.

Recruitment Specification

• Recent IDS experience.
• Graduate of a National Fighter Weapons Instructor course.
• Substantial proven experience as a Weapons Instructor.
