Job Overview

An HVAC Technician installs, maintains, and repairs heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential, commercial, or industrial buildings. The technician ensures systems operate efficiently, safely, and according to regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Install HVAC systems such as furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and ventilation units
• Inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical problems
• Perform routine maintenance (cleaning, replacing filters, checking controls)
• Test system performance and airflow
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and local building codes
