Job summary

alfanar Construction is seeking an HSE Officer to promote Health, Safety & Environment procedures across sites in Saudi Arabia and ensure compliance with policies and regulatory requirements.

The role involves conducting risk assessments, drills, investigations, and maintaining documentation for site accesses while collaborating with SABIC, SEC, MARAFIQ & ARAMCO, SWCC to uphold safety standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health Tech.
• 2 to 5 years of work experience in HSE roles.
• Strong knowledge of health & safety regulations and risk assessment.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist to develop, monitor and implement the organization's health and safety policy.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations to reduce hazards and accidents on site.
• Ensure policies and procedures are in place and enforced.
• Maintain legal requirements for health and safety in the workplace.
• Inspect the workplace for hazards, assess risks and report findings.
• Conduct drills (e.g., fire drills) to ensure preparedness.
• Investigate accidents and emergencies.
• Be familiar with site rules with SABIC, SEC, MARAFIQ & ARAMCO, SWCC.
• Understand risk assessments and method statements.
• Prepare documentation for site access gate passes for all workers.
