Job summary

Samsung E&A in Saudi Arabia seeks an Electrical Inspector to oversee pre- and post-inspections of electrical equipment, temporary camps, and site connections to ensure integrity and compliance with project and international standards.

You will establish inspection plans, maintain records, report deviations to EHSS, and collaborate with multiple teams to enforce safety and quality. English proficiency required; excellent collaboration and proactive risk mitigation expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in projects as Electrical Inspector or Supervisor.
• Minimum of 7 years’ experience in construction field.
• Project based EHSS experience in Oil and Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Be through with specifications to be met during construction phase for all temporary electrical connections and equipment.
• Relevant competency and International Certifications as applicable.
• Language: Writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Establishing random & periodic inspection plans and maintaining of record forms as per project requirements and international codes & standards.
• Ensuring inspection status is controlled through efficient tools.
• Be pro‑active and strive to find potential risks and take preventive actions.
• Directly report all deviations noticed to direct EHSS reporting authority and executing team for implemented corrective actions.
• Ensure all equipment’s comply with regard to electrical standards.
• Works hand in hand with different teams and personnel on the assigned task.
• Supervise, inspect, and sign inspection certificates for all equipment’s/panels/devices incompliance with the established Project guidelines.
• Ensure load bearing capacities for each electrical equipment complies.
• Ensure a periodic inspection schedule established, communicated, and complied with by sub‑contractors.
• Ensure only connections and equipment’s used are complying with industrial standards.
