About the role:

The HR Assistant Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing end-to-end HR operations, employee relations, payroll, and government relations, ensuring full compliance with local labor laws and regulatory requirements.

This role serves as a key operational partner to the Head of HCM and supports the Head of HCM across all assigned human capital initiatives, while taking ownership of HR operations, systems, and government relations. The HR Assistant Manager plays a critical role in ensuring HR operational excellence, system effectiveness, and regulatory compliance, and assists the Head of HCM in executing strategic and operational HR priorities as required.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, compensation, benefits administration, payroll, and HR administration to ensure that work processes are implemented as designed and comply with established policies, processes, and procedures.
  • Ensure payroll accuracy, compliance with labor laws, and timely processing in coordination with Finance and payroll vendors.
  • Maintain accurate employee records, HR databases, and documentation across all HR systems.
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws, employment regulations, and internal procedures.
  • Contributes to the preparation of the workforce budgeting, headcount tracking, and HR cost reporting.
  • Manage employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, investigations, and conflict resolution.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives and address workplace concerns proactively.
  • Monitor changes in labor laws and government regulations and ensure timely implementation.
  • Handle government audits, inspections, and labor disputes in coordination with legal counsel.
  • Own and manage HR systems, ensuring data accuracy, system integrity, user access control, and continuous improvement.
  • Act as the main point of contact for HR system vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Lead HR system enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
  • Assist and support the Head of HCM in all HR projects, initiatives, and activities as assigned, ensuring effective execution of departmental priorities.
  • Prepare HR reports, dashboards, and insights to support decision-making.
  • Identify opportunities to improve HR operational efficiency and employee experience.
  • Carries out HR line management responsibilities as directed by the HR department.
  • Perform additional HR-related responsibilities as assigned to support business needs.
We're looking for someone with:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5–7 years of experience in HR operations and government relations.
  • Strong knowledge of Saudi labor law, HR operations, payroll processes, and government platforms.
  • Proficiency in HR systems, payroll software, and MS Office.
  • Excellent written and spoken Arabic and English.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
