Job summary

Saudi Paper Group is seeking a senior supply chain leader to oversee planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing and distribution across the Group.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Business or Economics), 15 years in the field with at least 5 in a similar leadership position, strong English, and a proven record in cost control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in Supply Chain are a plus
  • Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least the last 5 years in a similar role
  • General training: Public Administration, Strategic Management, Organizational Behavior, Team Building & Leadership, Conflict Resolution, Financial Analysis
  • Specialized training: Supply Chain, Planning, Procurement, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Quality Systems
  • Good command of English sufficient to perform job duties efficiently and effectively

  • Ensure timely availability of raw materials, production supplies, and finished products.

  • Oversee inventory and warehouse management.
  • Monitor logistics and transportation operations.
  • Monitor performance, costs, risks, and implement improvements.
  • Lead and develop the Supply Chain team and ensure compliance with policies and regulations.

Job description

Key Accountabilities:
  • Manage and oversee the Group’s overall Supply Chain operations, including planning, procurement, logistics, warehousing, transportation, and customs clearance.
  • Develop and implement Supply Chain strategies, policies, procedures, and operational plans in alignment with the Group’s strategic objectives.
  • Ensure the timely availability of raw materials, production supplies, and finished products while maintaining the required quality and continuity of supply.
  • Manage procurement activities and supplier relationships, ensuring competitive pricing, quality standards, approved suppliers, and timely delivery.
  • Oversee inventory and warehouse management, including minimum and maximum stock levels, proper storage, inventory accuracy, and efficient utilization of warehouse capacity.
  • Monitor and optimize logistics and transportation operations, ensuring efficient distribution, cost control, and effective utilization of available resources.
  • Monitor Supply Chain performance, costs, risks, and operational efficiency, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
  • Lead and develop the Supply Chain team, ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, quality standards, budgets, and applicable regulations, and coordinate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge:
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (Engineering, Business, Economics, etc.)
  • Postgraduate/Master's degree preferred (Supply Chain, Business Administration, etc.)
  • Professional certifications in Supply Chain are a plus
  • Minimum 15 years of experience, with at least the last 5 years in a similar role
