Job summary

Hitachi Energy Ltd. is seeking a motivated GIS I&C Engineer to support installation, commissioning and fault elimination of high voltage switching systems worldwide for PGHV.

You will act as the on-site representative with strong technical knowledge, ensuring projects meet deadlines while maintaining cost-performance balance. The role requires 2–5 years of GIS experience, knowledge of SF6 gas handling, and proficiency in MS Project, with strong English communication skills for global

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 2–5 years of GIS experience preferred.
• Experience with SF6 GAS-Handling and PGHV Transmission & Sub transmission GIS knowledge preferred.
• Having capability to use MS project professionally.
• Proficiency in both spoken & written English language is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out installation and maintenance work independently.
• Ensure compliance with installation requirements and safety guidelines.
• Coordinate with sub-suppliers and project managers on scheduling and material handling.
• Supervise installation tests and commissioning documentation.
• Coordinate loop checks and participate in site meetings as requested.
