Aljazira Bank | بنك الجزيرة is seeking a Finance professional to strengthen General Ledger monitoring, data accuracy, and financial controls. You will perform substantive reviews, support IFRS/SAMA compliance, and collaborate with IT, Internal Control, and audit teams to ensure high-quality financial information.

The role focuses on improving GL data quality, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining documentation for audits and regulators, while upholding the bank's strong control environment.

Formación

• Experience in GL monitoring and financial data integrity.
• Ability to perform substantive and analytical procedures across GL, suspense, and P&L accounts.
• Knowledge of IFRS standards and SAMA requirements.
• Experience coordinating with IT and audit teams.

The role is responsible for supporting the accuracy, integrity, and quality of financial data by performing General Ledger (GL) monitoring, substantive and analytical reviews, and financial control activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor financial data to ensure information provided to senior management and regulatory authorities is accurate and free from material misstatements or errors.
• Perform substantive and analytical procedures to identify errors and discrepancies across GL, suspense, and P&L accounts.
• Support the implementation and compliance of the Finance Internal Control Framework to improve GL data quality and reduce financial risk.
• Coordinate with IT Operations, IT Development, Product Development, Internal Control, and GL Change Management teams on finance systems and control activities.
• Support GL-related controls, including new account openings, cost center creation, and changes to GL mappings.
• Identify and elevate unresolved issues and control deficiencies to the relevant stakeholders when timely corrective action is not taken.
• Coordinate with Finance system consultants and provide required information and documentation to auditors to support the timely resolution of audit matters.
• Maintain accurate financial data, records, and supporting documentation for audit, regulatory, and reference purposes.
• Provide support and seek appropriate guidance on complex GL, accounting, financial control, and regulatory matters.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IFRS standards, SAMA requirements, and the bank's internal policies and procedures.
