Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced GIS professional to join our Riyadh-based team. You will design and manage geodatabases, perform spatial analysis, and support major rail and infrastructure projects with advanced ArcGIS skills.

Lead GIS data integration with BIM and other engineering systems, coordinating with stakeholders to deliver robust geospatial solutions for critical infrastructure initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, Geography, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 12 years of professional GIS experience.
• Minimum 5 years of demonstrated experience supporting major rail, metro, or infrastructure projects.
• Advanced proficiency in ArcGIS and spatial database management.

Responsibilities

• Program and apply GIS database, spreadsheet software for GIS design, mapping and analysis.
• Independently contribute to design of databases or geodatabases and systems; compile and analyze GIS data.
• Evaluate commercial GIS applications and design GIS applications for internal use and client deliverables.
• Coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders and integrate GIS data with BIM and engineering systems.

• Works under general direction.
• Programs and applies a broad range of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) database, and spreadsheet software for GIS design, mapping and analysis.
• Independently contributes to the design of databases or development of geodatabases and systems, as well as compiles and analyzes GIS data.
• May evaluate commercial GIS applications, as well as design and develop GIS applications for internal use and for client deliverables.
• Independently performs most assignments with instruction as to the general results expected.
• Receives technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans for projects.

• Demonstrated expertise in mapping and geospatial analysis
• Exceptional analytical and technical reporting capabilities
• Proven ability to coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders
• Demonstrated experience integrating GIS data with Building Information Modeling (BIM), engineering systems, and asset management platforms
• Advanced competency in geospatial data integration and systems architecture
