Job summary

TAQA (Industrialization & Energy Services Company) is seeking an experienced specialist to maintain and operate Coiled Tubing and associated stimulation equipment in the Eastern Province, Dammam area. The role focuses on safe, compliant operation and continuous improvement across the TAQA Coiled Tubing package.

The ideal candidate has at least 15 years in Oil & Gas or 10+ years in Coiled Tubing, with strong English and Arabic communication skills, and a high school diploma.

Qualifications

• Required: High School Diploma.
• Preferred: Industrial training, preferably in Hydraulics.
• Experience: 15+ years Oil & Gas or 10+ years Coiled Tubing Specific.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain Coiled Tubing and data systems per TAQA standards.
• Rig up and rig down Coiled Tubing Package; maintain package with container and trailer.
• Perform standalone pumping, pressure testing, and pipe management tasks.
• Maintain accurate package documentation and ensure work follows scope of work and TAQA documents.
• Mentor and train operators; adhere to QHSE procedures and cost-efficient resources.

Job description

Responsible for maintaining and operating Coiled Tubing and Stimulation equipment as per company procedures and standards, to ensure that this equipment is always in safe and proper working condition.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Operations

• Operating and maintaining low-pressure and high-pressure pumping equipment, including fluid and N2 pumping.
• Operating and maintaining Coiled Tubing Equipment and Data Acquisition System.
• Rig-up & rig-down of TAQA Coiled Tubing Package
• Maintaining assigned Coiled Tubing Package with container and PCE trailer
• Pipe management
• Performing standalone pumping and pressure testing jobs.

Communication & Coordination

• Maintain package documentation as required by TAQA Coiled Tubing standards and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure all jobs are performed as per Scope of Work and in accordance with TAQA relevant documents.

Workforce Development

• Mentor and train operators.
• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, and procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Contribute to cost-efficient usage of all applicable resources to reduce wastage and unnecessary expense.
• Adhere to all relevant QHSE procedures, instructions, and controls so that TAQA provides a safe, best in class, secure and environmentally responsible service to customers, the public and its own people.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across one’s scope of work in order to achieve the Group’s mission, vision and strategy.

Change Management

• Manage self during a change and identify opportunities to take part in change initiatives, programs and projects that reflect international best practice and changes in the competitive environment.

Education / Qualifications:

• Required: High School Diploma
• Preferred: Relevant industrial training, preferably in Hydraulics
