Job summary

Axiom Technologies Pty Ltd. is seeking an experienced GCP Cloud Solutions Engineer to partner with customers and technology partners in delivering secure, scalable cloud solutions on Google Cloud Platform.

The role focuses on modernising legacy apps, implementing cloud-native architectures and automating deployments. You will develop Python-based automation, manage GKE workloads, design CI/CD pipelines, and implement IaC with Terraform, while collaborating with stakeholders across the client and

Qualifications

Hands-on Python scripting and automation development.
Experience with Kubernetes (GKE) and cloud-native architectures.
Experience designing CI/CD pipelines.
Familiar with IAM and least-privilege access controls.
Ability to translate customer requirements into cloud solutions.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with customers and partners to plan, design and deliver GCP cloud implementation projects.
Act as a trusted technical advisor on cloud architecture and automation.
Design, deploy and maintain secure, scalable cloud solutions using GCP services.
Develop and maintain Python-based automation scripts, tools and microservices to streamline cloud operations and resource management.
Deploy, configure, manage and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads on GKE.
Design, implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines for automated builds, tests and deployments.
Use Terraform to provision, configure and manage cloud infrastructure as code.
Design and implement secure cloud networking architectures (VPC, load balancing, DNS, routing, network security).
Implement IAM policies, service accounts and access controls following least privilege.
