Job summary

KAUST invites applications for a Full-Stack Developer to build secure, cross-platform web interfaces for an AI-powered submicron imaging platform. You will create intuitive applications that operate across devices while managing complex imaging datasets and integrating with ML systems.

This role emphasizes real-time AI/ML integration, high-performance databases, and responsive 2D/3D visualizations to enable rapid data insights in a scientific research environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of full-stack web development experience.
• Backend development experience with Node.js, Python, or similar.
• Database experience with PostgreSQL, MongoDB or equivalent.
• Security implementation experience (authentication, encryption, secure APIs).
• Responsive design and cross-platform compatibility skills.

Responsibilities

• Build responsive web applications that work across laptops, tablets, and mobile devices.
• Design intuitive interfaces for AI model interaction and image analysis.
• Manage high-performance databases optimized for large-scale imaging datasets.
• Implement security measures including encryption, authentication, and secure data transmission.
• Integrate AI/ML models into web interfaces with real-time inference capabilities.
• Create data visualizations for 2D, 3D, and point cloud data.
• Optimize performance for fast loading and efficient data retrieval.
