Job summary

Unilever is hiring a Machine Operator for deodorant production. You will set up, operate and maintain packaging and manufacturing equipment to ensure high-quality output and optimal capacity.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Production.
• 3–6 years in FMCG deodorant production.
• Proven machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Must be detail oriented and able to read production and plant processes.
• Analytical and numerical skills for unit conversions and measurements.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and work in a team.
• Ability to lift heavy equipment and stand for long periods; willing to work shifts.
• Proficiency with hand tools, digital apps, and MS Office; SCADA systems knowledge.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics and manuals.

Responsibilities

• Comply with safety, health and quality regulations.
• Perform quality control, report problems to supervisor.
• Set up machinery for operation and start/adjust as needed.
• Operate machinery to achieve production targets and efficiency.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance on equipment.
• Keep work area clean and maintain records of output.
• Assist in installation, maintenance and repair of machinery.
• Feed materials, inspect parts with measuring tools, and sample products.
