Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a qualified candidate to supervise baggage operations in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The role requires strong supervision and communication skills, proficiency in Arabic and English, and experience in leading operations. The candidate will be responsible for the smooth operation of the assigned floor, ensuring team performance, and training new personnel. A diploma in engineering or relevant experience in airport operations is preferred.

Qualifications

• Diploma in relevant engineering fields or high school with 2-3 years airport operations experience.
• Experience in operating automated systems.
• Experience in leading baggage operations.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the smooth operation of the assigned floor.
• Ensure daily allocation of floor workers and supervise tasks to team members.
• Train new and less experienced employees.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for smooth operation of the floor assigned.
• Responsible for the performance of floor team.
• Ensure dailyallocationof floor workers andsupervisetasks to team members.
• Supervise site worker’s performance and behavior.
• Ensures that employees comply with the company rules, standards, and key values at Vanderlande (acts as a role model)
• Supervise and monitors progress and work quality.
• Train new and less experienced employees.
• Report operation, maintenance and cleaning issues to Shift leader/Vanderlande Control Room.
