Job summary

Confidential is seeking a Director of Finance to lead the organization’s financial management and strategic oversight. You will drive budgeting, forecasting, treasury, governance, and financial reporting to support long-term growth and regulatory compliance.

The role requires strong leadership, IFRS expertise, and a proven ability to communicate with the Board and senior stakeholders. Prior experience in a listed IT-related company is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field (MBA preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA or CFA strongly preferred.
• 12–15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, governance and listed company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of financial strategies to support the company’s vision and growth.
• Provide accurate and timely financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.
• Develop annual budgets, long-term forecasts, and financial models aligned with corporate objectives.
• Oversee accounting, financial reporting, and auditing functions to ensure compliance with IFRS and relevant regulations.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial statements, management reports, and board presentations.
• Track financial performance against business plans and highlight variances with recommendations.
• Implement robust financial systems, dashboards, and KPIs for improved decision-making.

Treasury & Cash Flow Management

• Manage liquidity, cash flow, and working capital to support operational and investment requirements.
• Oversee banking, financing arrangements, and capital allocation decisions.
• Evaluate investment opportunities and optimize capital structure.
• Lead and mentor the finance team, driving a culture of performance, accountability, and innovation.
• Build organizational financial capabilities to support a fast-growing, listed IT company.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master’s or MBA preferred).
• Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, CFA, or equivalent strongly preferred.
• 12–15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a senior management role.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, corporate governance, and listed company financial requirements.
