Job summary

A leading petroleum company in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia is seeking a Finance professional to prepare financial statements, assist in budget preparation, and ensure compliance with financial policies. The ideal candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting and preferably have CPA certification. Strong knowledge of accounting regulations is essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

  • CPA certification preferred.
  • Knowledge of accounting regulations and practices.

  • Prepare monthly statements and analyze variances.
  • Assemble data for state quarterly and annual statements.

Job description
Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Prepares monthly statements by collecting data; analyzing and investigating variances; summarizing data, information, and trends.
  • Prepares state quarterly and annual statements by assembling data.
  • Responds to financial inquiries by gathering, analyzing, summarizing, and interpreting data.
  • Prepares special reports by studying variances; preparing budgets; developing forecasts.
  • Accomplishes finance and organization mission by completing related results as needed
  • Assist and oversee the implementation of Finance’s policies, systems, processes, procedures and controls so that all relevant procedural/legislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering high quality and cost-effective results for the region.
  • Oversee escalated Finance non-compliance case resolution and reduce non-compliance through ensuring the availability and promotion of stipulated policies and procedures for the region.
  • If needed, guide and assist subordinates to perform their daily activities in accordance with the policies and procedures.
  • Actively participate in on-the-job training
Qualifications & Skills:
  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting or equivalent is required
  • Certification as a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
  • Knowledge of accounting regulations and practices
