Job summary

NextEra is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong Project Management capabilities to support strategic Finance Transformation initiatives, particularly within the Oracle Fusion ERP environment.

The role will act as a critical liaison between Finance, IT, PMO, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery of business improvement initiatives, process optimization, value realization, and governance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Business Analysis, Project Coordination, or Transformation roles.
• Experience in Finance transformation projects and ERP implementations.
• Strong understanding of Finance processes: GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Budgeting/Forecasting.
• Experience with Oracle Fusion ERP environments.
• Excellent documentation, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements across Finance and ERP domains.
• Conduct current-state and future-state process assessments.
• Identify gaps, inefficiencies and automation opportunities.
• Translate requirements into functional specs for technical teams.
• Support planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting of Finance transformation projects.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, and milestone reports.
• Monitor progress and escalate issues, risks, dependencies as required.
• Coordinate activities among Finance, IT, PMO and external partners.
• Prepare governance materials and project status reports for leadership.
• Develop performance metrics and dashboards to measure project outcomes.
• Coordinate UAT activities and defect resolution.
• Support change management initiatives and user adoption programs.
• Prepare management reports and executive presentations.
