Job summary

Jai Hr Management Consultancy Services in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced Estimation Engineer for Fire Protection and Fire Alarm Systems to prepare accurate technical and commercial estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and quotations for fire-fighting, fire protection and fire alarm projects.

You will review drawings, specifications and tender documents, estimate materials and equipment, obtain quotations, and coordinate with engineering, procurement, project and sales teams to deliver

Qualifications

• Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Fire & Safety or MEP Engineering.
• 3–7 years of relevant experience in fire protection/fire alarm estimation and tendering.
• Experience with a fire protection contractor / MEP contractor preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ, quantity take-off and costing.
• GCC/Saudi experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQ and quantity take-offs from drawings, specifications and tender documents.
• Prepare cost estimates for fire protection and fire alarm systems.
• Review tender drawings, specifications, scope of work and contractual requirements.
• Estimate materials and equipment for Fire Sprinkler Systems, Fire Hydrant & Hose Reel Systems, Fire Pump Systems, Deluge & Water Spray Systems, Foam Fire Fighting Systems, Fire Alarm Systems.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
• Conduct rate analysis costing and comparison of supplier quotations.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, project and sales teams.
• Identify discrepancies exclusions and technical clarifications in tender documents.
• Ensure estimates comply with applicable NFPA standards and project client requirements.
• Support tender negotiations and post-tender clarifications.
