You will oversee audits, data analysis, and the design of programs for waste reduction, energy efficiency, water conservation, and carbon footprint management, while managing budgets and coordinating with regulators

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Environment Senior Manager to join our organization in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. In this strategic leadership role, you will oversee all environmental management initiatives, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive sustainability programs across our operations. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical environmental expertise with decisive leadership capabilities to champion our commitment to environmental responsibility and operational excellence.

• Develop, implement, and oversee comprehensive environmental management systems and policies aligned with ISO 14001 standards and local Saudi Arabian regulations
• Lead and mentor a team of environmental professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and environmental stewardship
• Conduct environmental impact assessments and audits to identify risks, non-conformities, and opportunities for improvement
• Analyze environmental data and prepare detailed reports for senior management and regulatory authorities
• Design and execute sustainability programs focused on waste reduction, energy efficiency, water conservation, and carbon footprint management
• Ensure organizational compliance with all applicable environmental laws, regulations, and industry standards
• Manage environmental budgets and allocate resources effectively to support program objectives
• Develop and maintain relationships with regulatory agencies, stakeholders, and external environmental consultants
• Identify emerging environmental trends and best practices, recommending strategic initiatives to enhance organizational performance
• Coordinate environmental training and awareness programs for employees across all levelsLead cross-functional projects to integrate environmental considerations into business operations and decision-making processes

Qualifications

• Minimum 15years of professional experience in environmental management, with at least 8years in a senior leadership or management capacity
• Demonstrated expertise in environmental compliance, regulatory requirements, and environmental management systems (ISO 14001)
• Strong knowledge of environmental impact assessment methodologies and environmental audit procedures
• Proven experience developing and implementing sustainability programs and corporate environmental responsibility initiatives
• Advanced analytical skills with proficiency in environmental data analysis and reporting tools
• Excellent project management capabilities with experience managing multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Strong team leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Strategic planning and visionary thinking to drive long-term environmental objectives
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders
• Experience with environmental risk assessment and mitigation strategies
• Familiarity with carbon footprint management, waste management, and water resource management
• Budget management and financial planning experience
• Knowledge of Saudi Arabian environmental regulations and regional sustainability frameworks is highly desirable
• Proficiency in environmental management software and Microsoft Office applications
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
