Job summary

Jodayn is seeking a Data Architect to define and govern our enterprise data architecture, ensuring data is structured, secure, and reusable. You will assess the current landscape, design target-state models, and align data domains, lineage, metadata, and governance with business goals.

Collaborating with business stakeholders, data owners, and IT teams, you will shape data integration patterns, support data warehouses, data lakes, and analytics platforms, and drive standards and modernization

Qualifications

• 8–10 years in data management, data engineering, database design, analytics, information architecture, or related disciplines.
• At least 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Data Architecture or a comparable senior data design role.
• Experience developing enterprise data models, data domains, lineage, and target-state data architecture.
• Experience with enterprise-scale transformation, data modernization, digital transformation, or data governance initiatives.
• Strong experience with multiple applications, databases, data platforms, and integration technologies.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders, data owners, data stewards, technology teams, and senior management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise data architecture aligned with business strategy and architecture direction.
• Assess the current data landscape, including data sources, stores, applications, interfaces, ownership, duplication, and quality issues.
• Define target-state data architecture and transition roadmaps supporting transformation initiatives.
• Establish enterprise data domains and relationships between domains, capabilities, apps, and data owners.
• Create conceptual, logical, and high-level physical data models as needed.
• Define master, reference, transactional, and analytical data and metadata architecture.
