Job summary

The role involves preparing test reports, coordinating testing during client inspections, resolving technical issues on site, and ensuring adherence to safety procedures while maintaining documentation and supporting design reviews with the department manager.

Qualifications

• Experience in testing and commissioning power plant equipment.
• Ability to review design documents for release and provide technical input.

Responsibilities

• Conduct commissioning and testing on power plants prior to operation.
• Prepare project test reports and maintain documentation of non-conformances.
• Coordinate testing during customer inspections and resolve issues on site.
• Perform testing and commissioning of substations or power plants, including relays, switchgear, transformers.

ENGINEER, TESTING & COMMI.(ALFANAR PROJECTS)

Job Purpose

Commissioning and conducting tests on the power plant prior to its operational phase.

• Preparing project and new equipment test reports, including updates and corrections.
• Ensuring the documentation of non-conformances and troubleshooting efforts.

Testing and Functional Activities:

• Conducting functional testing according to the specified scheme.
• Testing and coordinating activities during customer inspections.
• Resolving technical issues during power plant testing and site commissioning.
• Executing site testing and commissioning activities.Performing testing and commissioning activities related to substations or power plants.
• Testing and commissioning substation equipment, such as various types of relays, switchgear, transformers, etc.
• Adhering to all safety procedures during testing and commissioning.

Technical Support and Design Review:

• Providing technical support by reviewing design documents before their release.

Quality and Process Improvement:

• Initiating continuous improvement and maintaining records in consultation with the department manager.
• Initiating corrective and preventive actions and maintaining records in consultation with the department manager.
• Delegate sub-ordinates in each respective assignment.
• Ensures fair distribution of tasks to maintain morale, motivation of subordinates.

Compliance:

• Comply to related policy and procedures and work instructions.
