Job summary

Alfanar in Riyadh is seeking an Electrical Engineer to design, develop and document detailed electrical systems for projects, ensuring compliance with codes and client specifications.

You will perform load calculations, system simulations and performance analyses, collaborate with architects and engineers, review design changes, and drive delivery while maintaining safety, quality and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• Experience with electrical design, schematics and layouts is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop detailed electrical system designs, schematics, and layouts meeting project specifications and standards.
• Perform electrical load calculations, system simulations, and performance analyses to ensure efficient, reliable designs.
• Prepare and maintain documentation including drawings, specifications and reports; ensure compliance with codes and QA procedures.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems with building systems and project requirements.
• Review and approve design modifications to align with project goals and specifications.
• Identify and resolve design issues, perform system testing, and propose solutions during implementation.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices to improve design processes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and environmental management procedures.

• Design and Development:
  • Create detailed electrical system designs, schematics, and layouts for projects, ensuring they meet project specifications and industry standards.
  • Conduct electrical load calculations, system simulations, and performance analyses to ensure designs are efficient, reliable, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations.
• Documentation and Compliance:
  • Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design drawings, specifications, and reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate and up-to‑date.
  • Ensure that all designs comply with national and local electrical codes, safety standards, and quality assurance procedures.
• Collaboration and Communication:
  • Work closely with other engineers, architects, and stakeholders to integrate electrical systems with other building systems and project requirements.
  • Communicate with clients to understand their needs, provide technical advice, and present design concepts and solutions.
• Project Management:
  • Review and approve design modifications and changes, ensuring they align with project goals and specifications.
