Job summary

Rixos Hotels in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Pool Operation & Water Quality Technician to manage daily pool inspections, water features, and associated plant rooms.

You will test and record pool parameters such as pH, free chlorine, temperature, and other requirements; adjust dosing to maintain water quality within safety limits.

This role coordinates with Recreation, Lifeguards, Housekeeping and Engineering, performs preventive maintenance tasks, and keeps detailed testing and maintenance records.

Qualifications

• Technical diploma or vocational qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Water Treatment, or related field.
• Experience as Pool Technician or Water Treatment Technician preferred.
• Experience in hotels/resorts or large pool operations advantageous.
• Basic knowledge of pool water chemistry, filtration, circulation, pumps, valves, and chemical dosing systems.
• Basic English communication skills; Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily inspection and operation of pools and water features.
• Test and record pool water parameters (pH, chlorine, temp, etc.).
• Adjust chemical dosing to maintain water quality.
• Maintain pool plant rooms, pumps, filters, and dosing equipment.
• Report unsafe conditions and coordinate with Engineering.
• Complete maintenance tasks per schedule and record readings.
• Coordinate with Recreation, Lifeguards, Housekeeping, and Engineering.
