Atkins Realis Group in Riyadh seeks an experienced Electrician to install, maintain and repair electrical systems across commercial and industrial environments.

You will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose faults, and coordinate with teams to ensure safety and compliance with codes. A minimum of 5 years' experience and relevant licenses are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Technical Certification, ITI, or Diploma in Electrical Engineering preferred.
• Valid Electrician License/Certification as required by local regulations.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, repair and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial and industrial facilities.
• Perform inspections and preventive maintenance for LV/MV systems and control panels.
• Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical systems and equipment including FACP, BMS, UPS, PAVA, and lighting panels.
• Coordinate with maintenance teams to prioritize work orders and ensure timely completion.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and ensure compliance with safety standards.

Job Description

Electrician Overview The Electrician is responsible for installing maintaining troubleshooting and repairing electrical systems equipment and wiring in residential commercial and industrial environments. The role ensures all electrical systems operate safely efficiently and in compliance with applicable electrical codes safety standards and regulations.

Your Role As an Electrician

You will be responsible for carrying out reactive maintenance and Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities for LV MV systems low-current systems and control panels. You will act as a first responder to electrical issues work closely with supervisors on a daily basis and ensure compliance with BEC standards and client contractual FMA amp FMR requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Install maintain repair and troubleshoot electrical systems including wiring lighting power distribution and control systems within commercial and industrial facilities
• Perform regular inspections and preventive maintenance activities to identify potential issues and ensure optimal performance of electrical systems
• Diagnose and rectify faults in electrical systems and equipment including Fire Alarm Control Panels FACP Building Management Systems BMS Uninterruptible Power Supply UPS systems Public Address and Voice Alarm PAVA systems Fan motors and pumps Control panels Lighting panels Distribution panels Circuit breakers Lighting fixtures Conduct routine cleaning servicing and maintenance of electrical components to ensure operational efficiency
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to coordinate and prioritize work orders ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair activities including equipment status work performed and materials used
• Diagnose and repair system malfunctions requiring specialized technical knowledge and qualifications
• Seek technical clarification and support when necessary and escape issues appropriately
• Stay informed of industry developments emerging technologies and best practices related to electrical systems
• Ensure strict adherence to company safety procedures regulations and electrical standards
• Provide guidance and support to junior technicians when required
• Demonstrate working knowledge of building automation and control systems
• Follow up with supervisors to ensure activities and events are closed within agreed timelines
• Respond promptly to service requests and emergency callouts minimizing downtime and operational disruptions
• Assist in the installation testing and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment
• Ensure all work complies with relevant electrical codes standards and safety regulations
• Perform any other duties assigned by management

Qualifications

Physical capability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and across various site environments. Strong communication, teamwork, and time-management skills. Knowledge of building automation systems and controls is an advantage.
