Overview
- To facilitate all necessary electrical and electronics activities such as the repair and maintenance to ensure continuous, reliable and safe operation of electrical machinery, instrumentation and process control automation and communication system.
- To follow strictly on the implemented preventive maintenance program to reduce equipment breakdown and minimize, if not eliminate, downtime in operations.
- To be involved in the planning, design, implementation and commissioning phases in the installation, upgrading of electrical and electronics equipment and/or devices, which must conform to the requirements and standards set by the Electrical Code.
- To support implement an effective Preventive Maintenance Program for low and medium voltage power system to avert total power outage and costly repairs of low and medium voltage equipment to include transformers, switchgears and motors.
- To continuously gather data on machine electrical performance for Data Base Analysis which will be used for the implementation of Maintenance Enhancement Programs.
Qualifications / Requirements
- High school diploma (electrical, instrumentation, electronics) technical certification preferred.
- Proven experience as an electrical maintenance technician or similar role (minimum 3-5 years).
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, equipment and familiar with PLC.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with safety standards and electrical codes.
- Good physical condition and ability to work in various environments.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours or on-call shifts.
- Must have valid Saudi Council of Engineers certification.
- Preferably having experience from various OEM (Krones, OCME, SIPA, SIDEL, KHS, NESTAL, HUSKY).
- Familiar with Food Safety, HACCP, GMP, 5S, ISO and Lean Manufacturing Practices.
