Job summary

SGS is hiring a Drilling Rig Operator based in Jubail, Saudi Arabia. You will operate percussion and rotary rigs for soil exploration, sample on site, and identify soil types while maintaining logs and compliance with ISO 17025:2017 in a safety-focused environment.

The role requires on-site work, adherence to QMS, and a valid KSADriving License, with responsibilities spanning safety, documentation, and environmental controls at the SGS facility in Jubail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Drilling Rig Operator in ISO 17025:2017 accredited labs in KSA.
• Valid KSA driving license.
• School Certificate / HSSC required.

Responsibilities

• Operate drilling rigs (Percussion & Rotary) for soil exploration.
• On-site sampling from boreholes as per BS 5930.
• Identify soil types on site and maintain accurate logs.
• Implement QMS as per procedures.
• Maintain worksheets and drillers log.
• Uphold safety procedures and environmental controls.
