Role OverviewAs the PR Director, you will set clear objectives for the PR team and monitor performance to maximize the hotel’s brand presence across web, TV, and social media. You will strategize and execute creative campaigns, cultivate and maintain relationships with media professionals and influential industry figures, and secure favorable press coverage and positive publicity.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute PR campaigns that drive brand awareness.
  • Oversee media relations, securing coverage across web, TV and other channels.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key journalists, bloggers and industry stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, F&B and Rooms teams to align PR initiatives with business objectives.
  • Manage content creation, ensuring high quality and brand‑consistent messaging.
  • Analyze PR performance metrics and report on impact.
  • Lead the creation and execution of newsworthy events and story ideas.
  • Prioritize tasks, manage time effectively and drive results as a self‑starter.

Qualifications

  • Five to seven years of experience in public relations.
  • University degree in journalism, communications or equivalent experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Proven relationships with media, community and business contacts.
  • Creativity and a strong sense of quality.
  • Self‑starter who can multi‑task and prioritize.
  • Proficiency in leveraging social media networks and monitoring tools.
  • Ability to create newsworthy events, develop story ideas and follow through with pitches.
