Job summary

Alvarez & Marsal seeks a Director based in Riyadh or Doha to lead major project workstreams within our Infra and related Business Units. You will drive client meetings, present strategic analyses, and nurture relationships with senior stakeholders across energy, public sectors, and capital projects in the Middle East.

The role requires 10+ years in capital-intensive industries, exceptional communication skills, and a strong track record in project management and business development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in business administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in project management and business development, ideally within consulting or related industries.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience within capital intensive industries, with exposure to energy, public sector, and/or capital projects across the Middle East region.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of articulating ideas to diverse audiences.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze complex situations and develop solutions, emphasizing creativity and critical thinking.
• Self‑starter with strong business acumen and a results‑driven approach.
• Ability to adapt and thrive in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment.
• Collaborative and team‑oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead the execution of project workstreams, demonstrating expertise and identifying opportunities for process improvement within the assigned tasks.
• Conduct meetings and presentations with clients, as well as internal managerial and executive stakeholders, showcasing proficiency and confidence in discussing project matters.
• Collaborate with teams and clients, engaging in negotiations and fostering effective partnerships between leadership.
• Develop and nurture client relationships, seeking to understand their needs and contributing to their satisfaction.
• Participate in industry events and associations to broaden professional connections and identify potential growth avenues.
• Contribute to the identification and pursuit of new business prospects, aligned with the strategic goals of Infra and other Business Units.
• Drive project analyses, propose actionable plans, and exhibit strong decision‑making capabilities.
