  • Attend bid/no bid meetings and make decisions with the Regional Site Operations Director.
  • Attend and manage stage gate presentations; close out fee proposals, successful or not.
  • Lead Projects when required and manage CRM up-to-date.
  • Liaise with clients to understand their needs and plan new opportunities; diarize meetings.
  • Nominate key account managers and produce metrics.
  • Lead marketing and sales pipeline activities aligned with regional strategy.

Overview
Country Head of Site Supervision

is accountable for achieving all financial targets and other KPI's'applicable to assigned in-country business unit(s) and working with the regional team to achieve the wider goals of the Site Supervision business. It is expected that the Country Head of Site Supervision will develop a regionally aligned in-country strategy to drive growth and maximise revenue. This will involve working closely with the wider business to collaborate and maximise regional business opportunities. This is a senior client facing role with a remit to develop critical client relationships that support achievement of regional win-work and deliver work targets. You are responsible for maintaining and improving QHSE standards, along with managing the sustainable growth of the Site Operations (SO) business. You will work closely with the Regional SO Lead and the wider regional team in maintaining and enhancing our corporate culture and client focus to sustain the market leading performance and reputation. The Country Head of Site Supervision will report on performance against KPI's via monthly and quarterly updates. As the business unit leader in your country, you will attract, retain and develop the best talent in the market and drive service excellence to win repeat work and achieve growth in line with assigned targets.

Your role
  • Produce a Country Level business plan for your business unit for review and sign off by the Regional Site Operations Director.
  • Review current SO capability statements and review/update as necessary
  • Manage and take ownership of all fee proposals in conjunction with the bidding and commercial / legal team
  • Attend all bid / no bid meetings and take decisions with due consideration for the business plan with the Regional Site Operations Director
  • Attend and manage stage gate presentations
  • Close out successful and unsuccessful fee proposals
  • Act as the lead for Projects when required
  • Manage the CRM system ensuing that it is up to date and accurate representation of the business
  • Liaise with existing clients to understand their current and future business needs
  • Develop a plan for exploring new client opportunities and diarize meetings that can be measured against
  • Nominate as necessary key account managers and produce metrics for them to be measured against
  • Attend local events pertaining to the region and become a prominent figure in the construction industry
  • Participate in thought leadership and make contributions / suggestions for media opportunities
  • Lead marketing and sales pipeline activities in line with Group and Middle East strategy, working closely with regional sector teams and local business units

Financial management
  • Accountable for P&L'of the country business unit
  • Produce the annual invoice tracker illustrating revenue forecast against budget for all live and prospective opportunities (factored pipeline) including internal trade
  • Manage debtors and actively pursue receipt of all fees
  • Produce and maintain utilization trackers in line with agreed targets
  • Hold regular (at least monthly) meetings with the Regional Head of Site Operations and the Managing Directors Office to report on invoicing against budget targets and take necessary action to achieve targets. Invoices are to be coordinated and split to show the true income for the respective business units.
  • Accurately plan and record annual leave across the business in conjunction with line managers
  • Sign off and approval of expenses, in accordance with DOA
