Job Summary

A career in our Cyber Security & Digital Trust technology services will allow you to work under the supervision of cyber security leadership within the Digital & Cyber Consulting practice. Use strategic business consulting skills to work with clients through all stages of strategy-based transformation projects. Provide support on client assignments that help to develop a strategy and then refocus an organization on making that strategy a reality. Roles & Responsibilities

As an Operational Technology Cyber Security expert, you’ll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with our clients and teams and the main security stakeholders providing OT/Cyber strategic and hands-on technical expertise to secure the clients’ industrial control systems and operational technology environments.
  • Assist clients in executing OT cybersecurity programs, working cross-functional security initiatives, and directly overseeing the implementation, and maintenance of security controls and capabilities in critical infrastructure systems.
  • Help with initiatives such as OT asset discovery, asset management, security monitoring, vulnerability management, OT secure architecture, OT cyber awareness and training and OT Risk management.
  • Be a trusted advisor working cross-functionally and collaboratively helping clients drive a culture of security while safeguarding vital OT operations resilience and safety.
  • Support the PwC team and partners by leading pursuits and proposals.
Additional Roles & Responsibilities
Skills and Competencies
  • Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of industrial control systems and their components such as (SCADA, DCS, PLCs, HMIs, etc.) and their associated networking protocols. Proficient in deploying and managing OT security controls such as network firewalls/IDS for OT, endpoint protection on OT assets, secure remote access solutions, and continuous monitoring tools.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities in diagnosing complex security issues within OT environments. Capable of conducting detailed root-cause analysis of incidents and developing effective mitigations without disrupting operations.
  • Compliance & Assessment: Skilled in performing security risk assessments, gap analyses, and compliance checks against frameworks like NCA/OTCC and IEC 62443. Able to translate regulatory requirements into practical implementation plans on the plant floor.
  • Collaboration: Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively internally and with operational departments, understanding their needs and constraints. Work cross functionally to drive a unified security approach and initiatives.
  • Experience in delivering solutions aligned to an OT/IT convergence strategy.
  • ISA/IEC 62443 Cybersecurity Fundamentals Specialist or higher certification from ISA/IEC 62443, GRID or GICSP from SANS.
Educational Qualifications & Certifications

Minimum Degree: Must have a Bachelor degree in Computer, Information Systems or Engineering related field preferred

Minimum years of experience: 5 years experience in a Senior Security OT Engineer role Ex OEM experience will be treated as a plus
