Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the design department, ensuring alignment with project objectives and industry standards.
• Develop, implement, and optimize design strategies for oil and gas projects, focusing on heavy steel structures.
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to ensure seamless project execution.
• Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and design documentation.
• Mentor and guide junior designers and engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with clients and stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver tailored design solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards throughout the design process.
• Manage design schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to meet project milestones.
• Drive the adoption of new technologies and best practices within the design team.
• Prepare and present design proposals, reports, and progress updates to senior management.
